Photographer Jay Dathorne is from the island of St. Lucia, currently living in Los Angeles. Her photography is inspired by architecture, light, shadows and nature, which has nurtured her love for exploration and travel. She has a keen eye for detail, and a love for structures and art. Perspective is highly exaggerated, and many of the locations or things and people she photographs, have a captivating essence and an illuminating character.

 

From weddings to family portraits, sunsets in the Caribbean, architecture or fashion, her aim is always the same; to capture what brings joy to her and the human element.
